somewhere, someday
I hope you'll be one of the brightest stars where the
wind rises and that every time I call you, you'll hold me warmly. You may need
to walk through the middle of the sea, but you’d put your soul through mine in
the midst of it all, for I am one of your lost children. Forgotten by her
angel the day after forever.
Blindsided by a feeling that I've never known—how do
you deal with that? How do I cope with the things I can’t find? How do I live
through a life that’s telling me I don’t belong? If a flower wanted to bloom so
badly, shouldn’t you bestow it on her? It felt like time was passing like
a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on.
This soul of a convict awaits a dream that is as sweet
as a peaceful life, asking when it's going to be my turn.
